Flyfish Wake Up

Wednesday alarm, ringing

6:30

This alarm doesn't stop until you get up and move.

Do 10 squats to turn it off.

In the app, your camera counts them. Here, tap the button or press the space bar after each one.

Alarm off. Streak: 1 morning.

You're up.

That's the whole idea. Flyfish Wake Up is an iPhone alarm that keeps ringing until you've moved, so you're out of bed before you can talk yourself back in.

See how it works

Three ways to make it stop

Pick one for each alarm. Weekdays can be squats, Saturdays can be a puzzle you solve from bed. We won't judge.

Move

Prop up your phone and do the reps. The camera counts them, and the alarm stops on the last one.

  • Push-ups
  • Squats
  • High knees
  • Jumping jacks
  • A move you teach it

Think

Three quick rounds of maths, number sequences or memory. Hard enough that your brain has to switch on.

17 + 26 = ?

Move, then think

For your worst mornings. The alarm keeps ringing through both.

  1. Reps
  2. 3 puzzles
  3. Quiet

Turn a dance you love into your alarm

Use a short video of a dance you love. The app learns the poses, and when the alarm rings you dance them to turn it off.

Still in development
  1. Pick a videoFrom Photos or Files.
  2. Trim it to 3–20 secondsWith one dancer in frame.
  3. Check the posesFlip it if you'd rather dance mirrored.
  4. Dance to turn it offMatch the poses on screen when it rings.

Works best with big, whole-body moves, not footwork or exact rhythm. Your video is processed on your phone.

Once you're up, it walks you through your morning

Write your routine the way you'd say it. The app turns it into steps with timers and reads each one aloud in English or Chinese.

Split items with commas, new lines or "then". Add "5 min" to give a step a timer.

Miss a morning without losing your streak

You get 3 grace tokens each month. Miss an alarm and one is used automatically, so your streak survives a bad night.

Wake up to your own song

Use any audio file as the alarm sound, or pick one of six built-in tones, rooster included.

    In English or Chinese

The whole app, including the spoken morning routine, works in both languages.

    WTFU

    Wake the f*** up.

We put it in the name so it's the first thing you think of at 6:30. A bit rude, sure. So is your alarm.
